We need each other.

As individuals in the church, and as the church with other churches and organizations, we believe that we are better together. That’s why we have chosen, in a variety of ways, to partner with others. Below are some links and descriptions to those who we work with more closely and formally, but there are many other churches and organizations who we count as friends and co-laborers.

Saturate the Sound is a collective of churches and ministries committed to seeing a gospel saturation movement happen in the Puget Sound region.

We are committed to the vision of seeing every man, woman, and child have a daily encounter with Jesus where we live, work, learn, and play.

We know this will require new churches and church renewals. It will involve every disciple and church working together.

At Trinity we participate in one of the 10+ cohorts in the region. We meet with pastors from other churches on the Westside (all the way from Alki to Des Moines) and work through healthy ways of life and ministry.

The Racial Reconciliation Network is a non-profit ministry responding to the gospel’s call for Christian unity among believers, so that Christ will be more fully known.

One of the primary areas of disunity in the American church is racial. Our history of slavery, segregation, and other various forms of racism have hindered the church from displaying the love and unity towards each other, that are meant to be identifying characteristics of Christians. This failure on our part has contributed to the racial hostility we continue to see in our country today.

We get to partner with Racial Reconciliation Network as a church by being a part of a local cohort of pastors processing through reconciliation and racial relations together. We are hoping and praying God will lead us to opportunities to worship together as well.

We partner with Union Gospel Mission primarily through Renovo, a safe haven for women recovering from substance abuse, homelessness and domestic violence through programs at UGM. Renovo is the final step as they transition back into the community. Contact Jan Oehlschlaeger-Browne to get involved

Made to Flourish (MTF) exists to empower pastors and their churches to integrate faith, work, and economic wisdom for the flourishing of their communities. MTF offers workshops, online trainings, and cohort learning for pastors as well as resources for churches to help integrate faith, work, and economic wisdom in their corporate worship services, discipleship, and outreach.

We partner with Made To Flourish on their Pastoral Residency Accelerator program because we share a heart to raise up the next generation of healthy pastors to lead Jesus’ church into the future.

Since 1979 Joni and Friends has committed to reaching and serving people with disabilities with practical help and the saving love of Jesus. Their mission is to glorify God as they communicate the Gospel and mobilize the global church to evangelize, disciple, and serve people living with disability.

At Trinity, we partner with Joni and Friends by participating in their Northwest Church Network that meets to learn how to create places of belonging for people living with disability and remove barriers that prevent them from fully participating in the church. It is our heart to share in the Luke 14 mandate to go and reach those with disability and help them find their place in the body of Christ. We encourage the church to serve families impacted by disability at Joni and Friends Northwest Family Retreat and financially support the Warrior Getaway for veterans living with the visible and invisible disabilities of war.

Children of the Nations is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to raising children out of poverty and hopelessness so they can become leaders who transform their nations.

COTN specializes in caring for the most desperate children in some of the poorest countries in Africa and the Caribbean and emphasizes caring for the whole child--physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually--not just providing temporary relief. Their programs are built to be sustainable for the long term, and are led by local, in-country staff members who understand the culture and the children. At Trinity, we participate with COTN each May by promoting child sponsorship and each Christmas by promoting the gift catalog. In 2020, we got to purchase over 180 bibles for kids in the Dominican Republic!
