Kids
As the Church, we are called to help the next generation know and love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength (Deuteronomy 6:4–7). God entrusts children first to their families and then to the household of faith, and together we share the joyful responsibility of teaching them the ways of Jesus. Parents are the primary disciplers of their children, and the Church comes alongside them with support, encouragement, and practical resources. At Trinity, we believe that when parents and the Church partner together, children flourish in their life with God.
Our Vision
The Church is not a building where kids are merely watched or entertained. The Church is a people. A family. And like any family, we help one another follow Jesus in the ordinary rhythms of life. For families, this means living out a Deuteronomy 6 rhythm, talking about God when we sit at home, when we walk along the way, when we lie down, and when we rise. Our desire is to equip parents with the training and resources they need to teach their kids to love the Lord, and to create a Kids Ministry where children learn the story of God in a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment.
Our Heart for Families
At Trinity, we love our families and delight in seeing kids welcomed, taught, prayed for, and formed in the way of Jesus. Kids Ministry is available on Sundays for babies through 5th grade, and our team is committed to providing a secure, nurturing space where children can grow in knowing God. We also support parents throughout the week by sending home questions, Scripture passages, and teaching summaries that help continue the conversation at home. Our prayer is that families are strengthened, children are shaped, and the whole Church is built up as we follow Jesus together.
What to expect on Sundays…
Kids Ministry is available each Sunday for babies through 5th grade. We would love to welcome your family as our guests.
Before your first visit, you can fill out the online registration form so your children can head straight to their classrooms. You may also register when you arrive. The family entrance and drop-off area are located on the south side of the building on Ida Street.
When you arrive, enter the phone number you used during registration at our check-in stations. Your child’s name will appear, and you will receive a nametag for your child and a matching security tag for you. These tags help us safely reunite children with their caregivers after the service, so please keep your tag with you.
Your kids will be welcomed into their age-specific classrooms where they will meet their teachers, play, and build friendships. Children ages 3 and older will participate in a Bible-focused teaching time connected to the same passage or theme being taught in our main gathering upstairs. After the teaching, they return to their classrooms for pick-up.
By Tuesday or Wednesday, you will receive an email with a copy of the week’s lesson and questions to help you revisit Scripture with your children and continue spiritual conversations in the home.

Our Resources for Families
We exist to equip parents with the training and resources needed to teach their kids to love the Lord. We encourage families to establish simple Bible reading rhythms at home, we align our Kids Ministry teaching with our Sunday sermons and Community Groups to create shared touchpoints throughout the week, and we send home questions that help children engage Scripture and grow in understanding. Our Policies and Procedures page outlines our commitment to safety, care, and protection for every child in Trinity Kids, and we invite all parents to review it as they partner with us in caring for their children.
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
3 John 4.
All-Ages Services
Several times each year, we invite children to join us in the main Sunday gathering because Jesus welcomed infants and children and taught that the kingdom of God belongs to such as these (Luke 18:15–17). On All-Ages Sundays, we gather as one family to worship, allowing children to witness prayer, Scripture, teaching, and communion, and allowing adults to learn from the joy, wonder, and attentiveness that children bring. To support families, we offer childcare for children up to age three and for children with special needs, and we provide resources like overflow seating with audio and video, coloring pages, and shakers for singing. The service is kept to around sixty minutes, and the teaching is shortened to help families worship together with ease and joy.
