You are invited!
Join us as we remember the final week of Jesus’ life, his saving death and victorious resurrection.
I would like to personally invite you to come together and worship with our church this Holy Week, beginning with Palm Sunday on April 2nd and culminating on Easter Sunday, April 9th.
Maybe you’ve never really spent much time exploring Christianity. Maybe you have, but you’ve since lost your way. Maybe you know Jesus and the church, but it’s been a while since you have been face-to-face with other people who are there to worship. No matter where you’re at in your spiritual journey, this is going to be a time to reflect more deeply on the person of Jesus Christ:
Who was he?
How could a nobody from Nazareth have made such a huge impact on world history?
What difference does his life, death, and resurrection make in our lives today?
I hope to see you there!
Much love,
Pastor Joel

April 2nd: Palm Sunday begins Holy Week. As we prepare to remember Jesus’ death and celebrate His resurrection later in the week, we will first take time to acknowledge Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, a day filled with mixed emotions. All of Israel anticipated a king who would ride in on a warhorse, but He instead rode in on a donkey. Jesus enters not as a tyrant king, but as a humble servant, and in just several days, the same crowd that cried out, “Hosanna!” would be shouting, “Crucify Him!” (cf. Matt. 21:9; Matt. 27:22–23).
April 7th: Good Friday is a day of mourning as we remember Jesus’ death and crucifixion, as well as a day of worship as we reflect on His ultimate sacrifice for us. We are looking forward to gathering with our brothers and sisters from a couple of other West Seattle churches this Good Friday. Join us at Trinity at 7pm.
April 9th: Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, celebrates Jesus’ triumphant victory over Satan, sin, and death. We will be having a family-style service at Trinity with an opportunity for those who have not yet been baptized to do so! Feel free to invite friends, family, and neighbors to join in the celebration. Stick around for the party after service featuring an egg hunt, cupcakes, and photo booth to capture the memory. If you or your child would like to get baptized on Easter, please complete a form using the button below.
