A Bittersweet Farewell
Keagan and Erika’s Surprise Wedding Shower and Farewell Celebration!
Greetings Trinity Family!
Keagan, the Tech Director, here. I'm writing to bid you all farewell. August 16th will be my last Sunday getting to serve you all. Don't worry, the reason for my departure is truly a celebratory one. In two weeks I'll be marrying the love of my life in my hometown of Spokane, Washington. After the wedding, I'll be starting a new vocational journey as a high school Chemistry teacher at Bellevue Christian School (BCS). Both my fiancée and I are humbled and excited that the Lord has called us to the BCS community, and we can't wait to get started.
Although my time at Trinity has been shorter than any of us expected, three things have become abundantly clear to me over the last six months:
Trinity is a place that is overwhelmingly welcoming, both to me and to everyone who comes through its doors.
Trinity is deeply committed to its community, both within its walls and the community that surrounds it. Getting to be a part of it was a pleasure.
The Lord has blessed me in countless ways through my time here, and I'll miss being a part of God's plan for Trinity going forward.
Thank you all for the warmth, encouragement, and support you've shown me during my time here. It's meant more than I can put into words. I'll carry the memory of this community with me into this next chapter, and I'll keep praying for Trinity and all that the Lord is doing in West Seattle.
With gratitude and love,
Keagan McMurray
