Come Celebrate with Us This Sunday!
Trinity friends and family,
I want to personally ask you to do all you can to be there this Sunday as we celebrate our new partnership with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA).
If that is news to you—now you know, we are joining a denomination! Feel free to go back and review this document, which catalogs the whole (very long!) journey we have been on.
Why am I so eager to have you come?
Well, first off, I know that as the Summer scattering has come to an end, most of us are returning home and entering into the busiest time of the year. Work, school, sports, and countless other things are vying for your time, but this is a great chance to make gathering with Jesus’ people on Sundays a priority again.
More than that, I want you to come because it is no exaggeration to say that this is the most significant decision we have made since becoming an independent church in January 2015. This milestone marks a turning point in our story, and a new season of expectation as God continues to reveal to us what he has prepared for our future.
Here is what Sunday will include:
Worshiping Jesus! Song, Sacrament, Scripture, and Spirit.
Hear from guest speaker, Monty Wright, the District Superintendent of CMA Pacific Northwest (I like to call him our ‘bishop’!). He will be preaching from 1 and 2 Samuel, on “Unreasonable Grace”.
A brief ceremony in our service, making our partnership official and celebrating all that God has done to bring us to this place.
Donut holes - just to sweeten our time together :)
Will you join us?
In the Love of Christ,
Pastor Joel
