Looking for thoughtful conversation, meaningful connection, and good books this summer? Join us every other Tuesday evening at Ben & Jerry's + Alki Coffee Co. as we read and discuss books on faith, culture, friendship, spiritual formation, and following Jesus in a distracted world. Whether you love reading or simply enjoy honest conversation, you’re welcome here. No theological background is needed, and there’s no pressure to finish every chapter or book. Just bring yourself, grab a snack, and join the discussion.
The Basics: The Alki Reading Club is a summer gathering for high school students, young adults, and adults, primarily geared toward those around ages 16–30. We’ll meet every other Tuesday from 7:00–8:30 PM throughout June–August, beginning Tuesday, June 9, at Ben & Jerry's and Alki Coffee Co. on Alki. Participation is free. Simply purchase or borrow the book and cover any food or drinks you’d like from the coffee shop or Ben & Jerry’s.
