Prayer and Scripture
Prayer and Scripture anchor us in the presence of God and shape us into the likeness of Jesus. In a noisy and distracted world, these practices slow us down, reorient our desires, and help us attend to the voice of God. As a church, we want to become a people who are rooted in Scripture, dependent on God in prayer, and learning to live with Him in the ordinary rhythms of daily life.
Practicing a Way of Life With God in 2026
This year, we are creating intentional spaces for our church to learn prayer and Scripture and to practice a way of life with God together. We will read through the M’Cheyne Reading Plan as a community, gather for guided prayer, and offer classes that help us understand and delight in the Scriptures. Through these simple rhythms of reading, praying, learning, and practicing, we hope to become a people shaped by the Word of God and attentive to His presence in every part of our lives.
