Investing in the next generation!

Hi everyone! My name is Nick Goodwin, and I serve as the Area Director for West Seattle Young Life. I live in the area with my wife Abby, and have a huge passion for helping middle school and high school students experience authentic community, and the love of Jesus.

For those who may not be familiar, Young Life is a ministry focused on meeting students where they are, building meaningful relationships with them, and introducing them to Jesus in a fun, welcoming, and relational way. In West Seattle, we currently connect with hundreds of students across local middle schools and high schools through weekly clubs, small groups, mentoring, camps, and one-on-one friendships.

We are incredibly grateful that Trinity is a place where this ministry can happen! Young Life gatherings and leadership meetings regularly take place here throughout the week and Trinity’s support and hospitality have helped create a space where students feel known, welcomed, and cared for.

I want to personally invite you to our West Seattle Young Life Auction on Friday, May 29th from 5:45–8:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe. The evening will include drinks, dinner, a silent and live auction, and powerful stories of what Jesus is doing in the lives of students across West Seattle. It’s a fun and inspiring night that helps support and grow the mission of reaching every kid with the hope of Christ.
